This site is dedicated to preserving the memory of a great shipping line which, perhaps more than any other, has evoked a wave of nostalgia the world over. The White Star Line is much more than the story of the Titanic. It rightly occupies a place of high honour in the history of Britain's Mercantile Marine. An innovative new archive is one of the first aims of this site.
